Mr Umar Munshi is a fully qualified Optometrist with vast experience in the world of Ophthalmology. A highly ambitious and motivated individual, he proves to be empathetic and caring to all his patients. After obtaining his First-Class Honours BSc (Optometry) Degree at the University of Bradford, Umar went on to work as a community Optometrist until joining the company in 2023. Umar has developed a highly advanced skillset leading him to become a specialist within the field of optometry.
He has completed several extensive qualifications, including WOPEC accredited Pre & Post Cataract Qualification. He is currently also studying the Independent Prescribing course, sponsored by Optical Express, which has allowed him to expand his knowledge and provide his patients with a higher level of service and care. In order to stay on top of the latest developments in Optometry, Umar regularly attends national seminars/webinars to continue to grow as an Optometrist.
